  Dr. Platt is a great dentist. And his staff is great also. Everyone knows their job well and are good explaining to you what they’re doing. I highly recommend Dr. Platt and his competent team.

  This is the A team. I was very hesitant to sign my 12 year up for IV sedation to remove teeth behind the upper gum. I was a mess when the time came- I did not disclose to my 12 year old that She would receive IV sedation, and also did not tell her where exactly teeth would be removed. Imagine the guilt I had when I kissed her good bye and left her in the room with Dr platt and his staff. I pretty much just fell apart. I’m not sure what super human staff Dr platt has- but they are AMAZING. They got that iv in quick and my daughter told me they told her it would just be a little pinch and she didn’t remember anything after that. The staff notified me when the iv was in and my daughter was sedated, when the teeth were removed, and when surgery was completed. The staff were great at answering my questions before during after. Dr Platt and his team are highly skilled from what I can see- and they are well known in the NW IN area, I know because I called many other offices trying to find out if this could be done in a outpatient hospital setting and was informed multiple times that these procedures are no longer done in the hospital outpatient setting AND that this was the BEST oral surgeon in the area. I am very grateful for my HSA account and being able to afford these services for my daughter. Dr. Platt is matter fact and when you talk to him you can tell he has seen some things and gets to business- there is no warm and fuzzy feelings there- but there is a mastered skill level- and that is the priority. His staff provided the warm fuzzies and reassurance that I needed. This team truly runs like a Well oiled machine- amazing. So- if you are a mom, and are being sent to this oral surgeon for Teeth removal requiring IV sedation- I will reassure you that you are in right place. Just beware that there will be swelling- but it is temporary. One more thing- my daughter’s pain at home was minimal and managed with Tylenol and ibuprofen. Again, just amazing. A huge thank you to Dr Koufas for sending my daughter here, Dr Platt for taking care of my baby, and the wonderful staff that were kind to my daughter and provided this very anxious mom reassurance.
