Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

My experience with this Kroger pharmacy and the store's management team was honestly embarrassing for them. I called in to have three prescriptions refilled, and they got one of them wrong. I didn't realize it until I got home: I'd paid $80 for insulin, and it wasn't the one I requested over the phone.
When I brought it back to exchange it for the correct medication, or just get a refund, the staff was outrageously rude and completely unhelpful. They refused to refund my money or offer any real solution. The best they could do was a $5 gas card. That's not a fix; it's an insult.
What makes this so much worse than typical bad customer service is that this wasn't a minor mix-up, like a different brand or a generic substitute. It was an entirely different medication. If I had taken it by mistake at the dosage I take my actual insulin, it could have put me in the hospital, or worse.
The staff at this pharmacy was rude, incompetent, and showed no regard for the fact that they're handling people's prescription medications. If I could leave less than one star, I would. Please be careful, keep you and your family safe and consider another pharmacy for your prescriptions.

Jessica from Kroger pharmacy is absolutely the rudest this isn’t my first experience with her being this way either. My husband went yesterday to pick up our sons inhaler and chamber I had already called and was told it would be ready the next day cause it had to be ordered but we left for vacation and wasn’t able to pick up. When he tried to pick up he was told because we didn’t pick it up soon enough ( a week) it wasn’t there anymore but they would order a new one. So I called today to see if they got it yet, she says nope we can’t get it from the manufacturer. No explanation no helpful tips how to get this else where nothing. I told her about what we had been told previously and she tells me they sent a message letting us know I told her you must have the wrong number I didn’t get it. Instead of offering to update or check the number and help me get his asthma meds he has to have she gives me attitude so I ask her sooo is the script still there can you transfer it else where and ask her why she’s not being helpful as she can see what the meds are for and can see he needs these? She says yep another pharmacy can call didn’t offer to send it and actually ended up hanging up on me after I gave attitude back. I’ll be switching my entire family from Kroger pharmacy to else where after this experience. Most all of them aren’t very friendly or helpful but that was the last straw for me. My husband also gets meds send there every month like clock work yet they won’t fill them unless he calls and tells him to? The rest of us don’t have to do that so why does he? Makes it very inconvenient!!
