I set an appointment for today, I was running behind and coming in an Uber, i called and asked if it was okay, she said its fine. Also I called them them yesterday and explained I have a funeral Friday, I would be driving unexpectedly., she had next day appt great. I also asked if they had my insurance, she said yes. I explained I wanted to use my insurance allowance for the glasses. I even asked do you think I could find a pair of glasses low enough to stay in the insurance range. She said you should be able to do that. So I ubered their for $25. Imagine my surprise upon arrival, when she tells me she cant find My name, then she says im sorry, we are out of your network. Today's temp is over 90 degrees, and im sitting outside trying to find a place that could possibly take me today so that I can uber there. I also chose them because they did same day glasses. This was so dissapointing I couldn't hold the tears once i maded through the dors. I am unemployed right now because of health issues, so money is tight to none. If this was a bait and switch tactic, then how awful, because I might not make the funeral. I dont know what I will do mow. I think this is an awful way to treat a customer. A simple we can take you but, your insurance is out of network, is how they should have handled this. This has been a horrible experience at the Lens Crafters on Harrell rd, by the Hamilton Town Center Mall. No im not a money making customer (right now) but I still deserve decent customer service.

Dr Walden was fine, but this is by far the slowest service on the planet. Had my eye appointment last Friday. My contact trials FINALLY arrived today (a week later) but I can’t actually use my contacts until next Monday because apparently someone has to show you how to put them in (or you legit can’t take them home)and no one who knows how to put them in will be in until next Monday. I guess I’ll just continue not being able to see because the scheduling and organization in this store is an absolute joke. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere that can get you results faster than 10 days later. This is ridiculous.

You get an A1 comprehensive eye exam along with explanations at all phases of testing. They have an extensive selection of frames for your choosing. Great place!
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
