Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Absolutely awful here! Save your time and go somewhere else. They are slow they will make you wait in line multiple times in one visit. They NEVER answer the phone they make you come in and sit for over an hour for your medicine. Totally unorganized, I’ve never seen a pharmacy this bad.

They were great but the Kroger on state st is Quickly become one of the worst Pharmacys I’ve used! You call and they immediately transfer it to hold so you have to hear staticky music for a few mins until it rings again only to be on hold again I was in n this cycle for 18 mins until I hung up, I called back and it’s now been 11 more! The windows often closed so you have to come in and stand in a long line.

I don't have time to do reviews, but in this case I consider it my civic duty to warn people away from using this pharmacy. Yesterday I had my 4th incident of the year where a prescription was reported as ready by text, only to find that it was not after driving 20 minutes to pharmacy. My advice to Kroger, get out of the pharmacy business. Either do it right or not at all.

Never answer the phone. Each time I call I try to speak to someone working because the phone AI does not work, I never get an answer. Currently have been on hold for 20 minutes.

The staff at this pharmacy are so rude!! My husband waited in the drive through while they kept staring at him , he was there 30 minutes before their lunch break. You could have at least came to the window! He came into the store and very rudely said we’re short staffed he said mam this had been ordered since Saturday and I as to be picked up Sunday, again very rudely said we are short staffed, I’m sorry but that wasn’t his fault. When there’s 2 or 3 people walking around in there staring at customers in the drive thru I don’t think you are that short staffed. 9 out of 10 times I pick his medicine up the staff is rude, you may need to find another job that suits you better, waiting on people that are sometimes not feeling well does not deserve to be treated the way you treat customers!!
