- LVLaShun VarnerOct 2, 20265.0I've been going to MECA for about 20 years. Dr. Nguyen is an exceptional ophthalmologist. He is thorough with his patients and is very skilled in his craft. His staff is great from check-in to checkout. All employees that you encounter are customer oriented. To name a couple of the employees Monique at checkout and Sam who works behind the scenes are spectacular addition to the office. If you want an eye doctor who takes pride in their job, please visit Munster Eye Care Associates. MECA team keep up the great work!
- NHNikolaos HalkidesSep 30, 20265.0MECA is a large clinic, but it is well-run and wait times are not excessive. I was treated for cataracts, receiving two intraocular lenses of the adjustable type (which I recommend). The team is organized and coordinated, working together smoothly through a multi-step process beginning with a Tear Osmolarity Test (a Dry Eye test, for which condition I was treated with a Thermal Gland Evacuation). Dr. Qi performed the lens replacement surgery which went extremely well, and I experienced no complications. When my eyes were sufficiently healed, Dr. Lewis adjusted the lenses using UV light treatments, and I now enjoy 20/20 vision in each eye. I also got a pair of glasses for close-up work, and am very happy to see so well at my age after cataracts had left me with blurred vision. Evan coordinated the surgery dates and Samantha helped me to choose the right lenses. I don't mean to leave anyone out, but I can’t remember everyone else’s name after six months and as I mentioned, the entire team performed very well.
