I walked in the store. One person spoke passed me on to another person. I was trying to explain what I was looking for and he told me to go to Skechers. I said I was not looking for a sketcher's shoe. I was looking for a shoe that you all may be can recommend. And then he walked away. And told somebody else to take care of me because he didn't want to talk to me anymore. So do not go to this store in Indianapolis and deal with the older man named Phil. Because he does not have patience. Nor does he want to listen to your needs. So don't go to the GoodFeet store in Indianapolis and deal with Phil.

Theresa and Phil were informative and answered all of my questions regarding proper body alignment affected by our feet. I never felt pressured to buy anything but did purchase supports. I highly recommend this store.

Had a really good fitting session with Phil R. He was personable and knowledgeable about helping me with my plantar fasciitis. This is the first time I’ve ever tried an arch support solution and so far so good.

We were curious and popped in and it ended up being a life changing experience. Phil was an excellent professional who helped me get into. A perfect pair of Brooks shoes and even helped us find a perfect massage system to help with my neuropathy . Thank you!

Listen, it's a beautiful store and what they attempt to do is a nice gesture. But it's all sales. I had a rep from there, Melanie, and she gave me a wonderful presentation but I did not appreciate everything she was doing to get the most money out of me. Again, it's all sales, so they are doing everything they can to get the most commission. They don't actually care about you, they just care how much money they can get out of you.
She presented me a price of a little over $2,200 acting as if everyone just has the money to fork that over. As soon as I saw the comma in the price tag, I knew I needed to run and get out of there. Then she presented me a price of $1,680... again, acting as if I can justify that kind of payment. They do offer a payment plan, but I do not think it is necessary to do a payment plan of $94 a month for a couple pieces of plastic. It's honestly just ridiculous. Melanie also tried persuading me into saying my shoe size needs to be a whole size bigger (again... just doing it to try to squeeze more money out of me...) when I know for a fact what my shoe size is and what feels best for my own feet. And then they will try to guilt trip you by saying, "it's an investment" or you're doing what's best for your ankles, feet, hips, knees, and back. And Melanie even said, "you know it's a good day when you see someone walking into the store with a cane and then being able to walk out of the store without it after a purchase" or how she has seen people's ankles touching the floor (Blah, blah, blah). Don't listen to them, they just tell you what you want to hear. As someone who is in sales myself, I know all their tactics and how they do everything they can to make sure you finalize a purchase with them.
Do yourself a favor and pick somewhere else. You can get inserts that do the same thing for way cheaper somewhere else. I think it's a bit frivolous to pay all that money for 3-4 inserts with all the tedious steps. Take what I say with a grain of salt, everybody is different and goes into this store for different needs, but these google reviews will keep everything positive and won't actually tell you the true experience you get when you're in the store for yourself. But this is just my complete and honest review of what you should know before going in there.
Frequently Asked Questions About The Good Feet Store
How are our arch supports different from inserts and insoles I can buy online or in drug stores?
Good Feet Arch Supports are designed to provide the firm, yet flexible function necessary to help correct poor foot biomechanics, providing long term pain-relief solutions.
I buy good shoes, but my feet still hurt. Can arch supports help me?
Absolutely. It’s common for people to think that their shoes are the problem, when in reality it’s often the foot that’s going into the shoes that’s the real source of discomfort. By stabilizing the foot with a good arch support, the pain and discomfort caused by common foot and foot-related problems can often be minimized or alleviated.
Will I be able to take my arch supports home the same day I purchase them?
Yes, for ages 6+. Your local Good Feet Store stocks a full inventory of arch supports. Once you’ve been fitted and have found the supports that work the best for you, you’ll be able to wear your new arch supports home.
How do I get my free fitting?
It’s simple. Just stop by your local Good Feet Store. No appointment is necessary, but if you prefer, you can schedule an appointment at the store near you.
Can I use my HSA or FSA funds to purchase arch supports?
Yes, you can use your HSA or FSA to purchase our arch supports. Arch supports, shoe inserts, insoles, or orthotics are eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), or a health reimbursement arrangement
(HRA). However, arch support reimbursement is not eligible with a limited-purpose flexible spending account (LPFSA) or a dependent care flexible spending account
(DCFSA). Arch Support Inserts are eligible for reimbursement with an FSA or HSA as they are devices placed into your shoes to support the arch of your foot to reduce discomfort. Important Reminder: FSAs, HSAs, and other listed account types may differ. Be sure to check with your administrator before making a purchase.
How do Good Feet arch supports differ from regular inserts and insoles?
