Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

I've never had a hard time at this pharmacy. Yes, it can sometimes take patience when getting phone calls through, but that's a low staffing issue. They actually eventually pick up, though, and I often couldn't get anyone on the phone at all with other places and had to physically be in-store to get questions answered. They're always polite, and compared to my experiences elsewhere, they're pretty efficient and go out of their way to be accommodating. Low stock hasn't been a problem either Whoever works the drive-thru on the occasions that I'm there is great! She's saved me a lot of money on Rx costs by finding me bigger discounts. I pay it all out of pocket, so this is a big deal to me. I'm going to try to remember to get her name next visit, so I can give credit where it's due. Things are difficult these days, but they're not. Can't begin to say how relieving it is to not have to worry about this important aspect of life.

The pharmacy staff on duty 5/5 around 4:30 were amazing. I had an insurance/medicaid debacle that they figured out and got me on my way. Not the first time pharmacist/techs have gone above and beyond.

This pharmacy made a serious and unacceptable error by giving me a completely different medication than what was listed on the prescription bottle. This is a major safety issue, not a small inconvenience. What makes it worse is that when I called the pharmacy to report it, I was told they “couldn’t do anything about it.” No accountability, no urgency, and no attempt to resolve a potentially dangerous mistake. Pharmacies are expected to follow strict standards because people’s health depends on it. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in this Kroger Pharmacy. I would strongly recommend anyone who fills prescriptions here to double-check their medication before taking it.

This has been my pharmacy for over 10 years. It was always reliable. Since the pandemic, they are constantly understaffed. They can't get the prescriptions right and have filled multiple scripts that I no longer use, while NOT filling the ones I do use. I blame Kroger, because they are running the pharmacy. Clearly they are not paying staff enough to keep them. The turnover is astounding. I will be moving my prescriptions in the near future.

This place used to be on point when prescription was called in it was filled never had any issues and the staff was good. Now its new people int the pharmacy and since they are doing vaccines now the drive thru is closed which is very thoughtless. What about the ones that arent able to come in!!?? I dont think they thought about that. So my daughters doctor called her script in at 10 in the morning! I waited until later to pick up as I remember I needed to call in her other script which I did so around 2. So I get to the pharmacy which is a long line as they cant handle doing vaccines and filling medicines. Cause they did not have my daughters script filled from 10 this morning but had the ones of 2 filled. My question was why is this not filled and this one filled before the answer was its only 2 of us. Honestly that is not my concern. If they cant handle the demand for vaccines and filled scripts they dont need to do both. Then they say give me 15 minutes to fill it. So I'm waiting only for them to say they are out...anx they left it a a period not let me see what I can do..i explained that may daughter needed be meds today as she was not feeling well. They showed no interest to help..so I said what add you going to do you need to do something as the doctors office is already closed and someone should have informed me as thus is an important matted not to be must dismissed. They are horrible now! Where's the old staff??? Horrible.. Not happy..time waisted
