Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Final update: Switched rx to meijer. Rx immediately filled with zero issues. Active, approved investigation in place with the Indiana District Attorney Office who oversees the board of pharmacy.
Another Update 8/30: Now my RX that was processing for pickup on 9/3 now shows pickup for 9/10. Again no communication, warning, reason or anything. My doctor confirmed that there are no supply shortages. I am scared to death to call and ask because I do not want to get screamed at again for asking a question.
Update 8/29: after going to my doctor's office I learned that the pharmacy never sent the prior authorization form. I called the pharmacy and when I started asking questions I was instantly YELLED at and told it was my responsibility to ask my dr to send the PA. However the app went from showing on-hold to processing from yesterday to today. My doc office NEVER received the request. I called insurance and they confirmed the issue was with the pharmacy. My dr office confirmed the issue is with the pharmacy. I called back after getting hung up on to get answers and understanding and instantly just started getting yelled at again. I was admittedly speaking in a frustrated tone but I never yelled and this woman was straight up yelling and talking over me.
I called to speak to the store manager and the rep who answered said they get constant complaints about the pharmacy.
I just want my rx that is officially 1 month past due.
This location is horrible.
...........................................
I've put in for a routine prescription no less than literally 5 times in ten days and this location keeps canceling out my order. I am beginning to feel as though this is treading on the edge of discrimination on the basis of my auto immune disorder.
I've tried to professionally express my need for this medication and that I'd explore the option of self pay if necessary.
Thr rx is valid from my pcp so why the pharmacy representatives think they have some sort of deciding factor over a doctor is a curious notion for sure.
Thr pharmacy has one job. Fill the rx as directed by a medical professional. The object of payment is my responsibility as the patient.
I've repeatedly had numerous issues with this location in getting my necessary diabetes medication.
Again I feel as though there is a bias or discrimination against my disease due to the excessive canceling of my order to fill and mis communication from pharmacy technicians and more.
