  When entering got waited on right away once I got back in The doctor’s office I didn’t have to wait for him to come in. Maybe three minutes four minutes. He was in there taking care of business asking lots of questionsI was out of there within 45 minutes to an hour I was done

  Everyone at the front desk, nurses and doctor were friendly and professional. Recieved and in a room to see a doctor in a timely fashion. Doctor was very helpful in answering all questions I had.

  Front desk actitud zero; Doctor Okay, pharmacy so, so; assessment interview pointless, I go to take care my health why I being forced “ required “ to answer several unnecessary questions in regards my personal living life style all the questions should be related my health and instead give more time to the doctor to see the patient.

  The nurse practitioner I met with was not very friendly. Due to this, I was not comfortable being open and honest about my struggles. I was asked a long list of questions and based off my answers, new medications were added to the handful of medications I’m already taking. It was not my intent to get more medication. I wanted to make sure the medication I am on is right for me. I had to stop the conversation and ask if I was able to ask questions before being rushed off the phone. Overall, I’m disappointed in the experience. I don’t feel time was taken to get to know me beyond a list of questions that were difficult to answer.

  I had a very disappointing experience with the weight management provider at NorthShore Health Centers. I drove about 35 minutes for my appointment and waited over an hour to be seen. Unfortunately, the visit itself was even more frustrating. Dr. Shah was dismissive and came across as condescending. Despite explaining my consistent efforts with diet, strength training, cardio, and even prior use of GLP-1 medication, I was told my weight challenges were purely behavioral. There was no meaningful discussion of potential underlying factors like hormones or metabolism, and no attempt to investigate further. Even when I explained that I regained weight despite maintaining healthy habits, that concern was dismissed. The guidance I did receive was inconsistent—at one point I was told medication wasn’t necessary, and later I was asked if I wanted to restart it and told it would be a lifelong commitment. No clear plan, referrals, or next steps were provided. The appointment ended abruptly, and I was left sitting alone unsure if the visit was even over. Follow-up from staff was also minimal and unhelpful. I left feeling unheard and without any real support. Given that this is the only provider for weight management in the network, that’s especially concerning. I would not recommend this service based on my experience.
