  Absolutely no hate for this place! I'm very sure they are short staffed and training new employees can be a process. That said, I went here for a walk in (called ahead) which they kindly accepted. I'm unsure if making an appointment would have made a difference. The appointment was rushed, I wasn't offered to dialate my eyes (I have VERY bad vision, so this would be important to address - assured by another doctor at a second opinion since I hadn't had it done in years but my eyes are higher risk). The prescription process was rushed, the doctor kept having to leave to help the receptionist with any new people that came in. They did a goggle-esc machine test out in the waiting room (which felt a bit Weird to me but whatever - a bit embarrassing if there's other customers around?) and continued to the sales process, which did not take long due to me ordering a very specific set of frames. I always purchase the same frames, so there was very little time spent looking for frames. The receptionist was measuring my eyes in the glasses and copied how I was sitting to represent that my posture was bad, but I was in a rolling chair... how am I going to have perfect posture... also just in general did not appreciate my posture being made fun of, if that was her intention... it also may have just been a language barrier though which is okay! I just personally felt it was insensitive since I have a cervical spine issue. I ordered glasses, but there were some pricing issues. The same pair of glasses were priced differently at both shops, with Wheaton having the glasses listed around $35 more expensive than Oakbrook. The tags at Wheaton were written on with pen, while the tags at Oakbrook were printed. Unsure if this matters. When I got a second opinion, I ordered glasses again. The Wheaton Pearl Vision cost me the same price as the Oakbrook Terrace Pearl Vision, but I was able to get transition lenses and blue light protection at Oakbrook... The Wheaton location told me it would be an extra 200 for the blue light and an extra 200 for the transition, so for just glasses and whatever else was added (scratch resistance, lenses, lense thickness, etc.) I was paying the SAME price at Oakbrook, but got transition lenses and blue light protection. Even worse, my prescription was DIFFERENT in multiple factors (astigmatism, etc.) at Oakbrook! My appointments were Saturday (Wheaton) and Tuesday (Oakbrook). My eyes are not going to change so dramatically in that time. Several columns in the prescription were different. I feel that because the appointment at Wheaton was so rushed, my prescription was not measured correctly. This is detrimental to me, because I have very bad eyesight and cannot see without a proper prescription. No discussion of warranty, no extra documents ensuring the policy of the glasses or repairs or refunds. Oakbrook offered this during the process which helps a consumer feel more at ease with their purchase. I cancelled my glasses same day as ordering. The refund process took until Tuesday. They requested I call back several times, which I did, despite requesting they simply call me once it was cancelled. I'm still awaiting my money, but this can take some time. In general, the Wheaton location seemed very short staffed and stressed. I feel badly for the shop, but I can't recommend this place unfortunately because of my experience. The entire situation was stressful, rushed, and I had to get my insurance involved. Overall, I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you have had a positive experience already or are comfortable with the risks of the process.

  The staff was very nice and helpful.They took made feel very comfortable,took their time with exams and helping me find glasses.The visit was amazing.I definitely recommend them if you’re the area they take care of you!!!!
