Great experience with Lens Crafters in Wheaton . Dr. Anthony Losurdo DO is a rock star. Great personality very professional. He explains everything in plain language. Made me feel very comfortable. He also took care of my younger daughter and she loved him. Aaron was professional and took care of my glasses needs. The whole office was very accommodating. Highly recommend for all of your optical needs.

Dr Losurdo knocked it out of the park with my prescription! I have Sjögren's syndrome, and autoimmune that attacks the eyes and he takes the time to truly get me to a perfect prescription, including advising on lenses. His expertise and thoroughness makes my astigmatism, my dry eyes, and my sensitivity to light a non issue. I feel so empowered with his prescriptions for my eyeglasses. Thank you, Dr. Losurdo. I don't take your expertise for granted. And fyi, this great optometrist is part of a team at Town Square Wheaton, all of whom are conscientious, skilled and kind. The day I was there I met (and I have gone here for years, and been a Lenscrafters customer for over 30 years!) Gina, a motivated manager conscientiously acquainting herself with every aspect of the business model, asking assistance from Aimee on using the software, and having Aaron double check her fitting of my progressives. Lenscrafters has "bench strength" because Aimee, too, knows so much she may be a manager as well! David did the tech tests before I saw Dr. Losurdo and he gentle, smart, and efficient. Am I gushing? I just mean, I have so much difficulty with my eyes but every single employee I dealt with cared to get things right. I sit here now with great progressives as well as an additional pair of progressive sunglasses. They are pros for a reason! This company knows how to do things right without taking shortcuts. Thank you!

Dr. Pete is very easy to work and thorough. He presented a very clear picture of my vision and offered options to address my particular issues. The staff was equally as thorough and attentive.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients).
