- AGAdam Goldfine3 days ago1.0Went in for a contact exam and that went fine. Only issue is the next day I’ve got an eye infection so clearly some of the equipment they had me put my face on wasn’t cleaned properly

After I told them I didn’t want the most expensive lenses they told me they’d remove. Except they didn’t. They “downgraded” to the second highest level lenses. That I didn’t want. When I looked at my receipt I called them and was told “the lab is already working on them. Sorry!” Sleazy. But Ok fine. A full week later they call me to tell me they don’t have the frames I picked. I need to go back and pick new ones. So they couldn’t downgrade the lenses because the lab was working on them. But a full week later I find they haven’t even begun my glasses. Now to get a refund I have to go back there because I’m told it’s a “return”. A return for what? The lenses I didn’t want or the glasses you sold me that you don’t actually have? Go literally anywhere else.

They asked to see my glasses to take measurements, but I regret handing them over because when I got home and cleaned them, I noticed scratches and damage that were not there before. What makes no sense is… why did they even need my glasses when they could easily see my prescription in their computer system? I honestly felt like they were pushing hard to sell me new frames after I clearly stated I only wanted a lens change. I called to complain, and of course they said they weren’t responsible. 🙄 Lesson to everyone: be careful handing over your personal eyeglasses — this could happen to you too‼️‼️‼️‼️⚠️ Crazy how fast my own glasses suddenly ended up damaged, after saying I just wanted my lens changed NO frame. 🤣😂
