  I had a great experience at For Eyes in Vernon Hills this past Saturday. I went in for an eye exam and also purchased a pair of glasses. The doctor was very kind and took the time to clearly explain each part of the examination. I really appreciated that I never felt rushed—he made sure all my questions were answered and that I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. The staff was also wonderful. Even though they were very busy, everyone remained friendly, patient, and attentive. They took the time to answer our questions and provided excellent customer service from start to finish. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I would definitely recommend this location to others!

  I hadn’t seen an eye doctor in person since before the pandemic, having relied on online exams and generic dailies from a popular internet contact lens retailer. My experience at ForEyes in Vernon Hills was so good that I can't imagine ever going back to online exams. I love the convenience, but they won't ever tell you the truth about what you look like in the frames you think are SO cute. The doctor was excellent, incredibly personable, and had a great sense of humor. The front staff was just as welcoming, taking the time to guide me through every step without making me feel rushed. When it came to choosing frames, the team member helping me offered refreshing, honest feedback on what actually suited my face shape, a level of candor I deeply appreciated. Another staff member was a total wizard with my insurance benefits. She structured everything so my insurance covered a full year of daily contacts, and then stacked store discounts on top of that for my new glasses. Ultimately, I walked out with an exam, a great pair of glasses, and a year's supply of contacts for just over $700. I was amazed by the value. Not only are the new lenses a much higher quality brand (Bausch & Lomb), but they cost about half of what I had been paying for online generics. The customer service here is exceptional, and they have absolutely earned a returning customer.

  I had a great experience purchasing glasses for my mom. Abbey was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and made the entire process easy and enjoyable. She took the time to answer all of my questions, explain my options, and helped me find frames that were a great fit. Her friendly personality made the whole experience fun, and her customer service was outstanding. I highly recommend this store and appreciate all of Abbey’s help!

  We are so thankful having Ms. Sheila in starting with the eye exam followed by picking the right pairs of glasses and finishing up with an excellent consulting. She took the time only for us and was very patient. She is not just crossing of her to do list she gave her personal touch. Also Dr. Ross was very experienced and patient with us. He took enough time to walk each of us through the process and explained all the necessary details. We felt greatly comfortable and warmly welcomed in the for eyes at Vernon Hills.
