I went to four different sunglasses huts to try to get two pairs of glasses fixed and they fixed it within 10 minutes! Jill you absolutely rock!

I had my yearly eye exam with Dr. Ulfat at LensCrafters and it was a great experience! She was professional, thorough, and made everything easy to understand. I felt comfortable asking questions, and she took the time to explain my results clearly. The appointment was efficient but never rushed. Highly recommend her for anyone needing an eye exam!

I had a really disappointing experience here. I went in for an eye exam because I wanted updated glasses. During the appointment, the doctor told me my prescription had changed and recommended getting new lenses. However, when I got home and compared the prescription to my previous one, I realized it was exactly the same. The next morning, I called the office to clarify. The receptionist told me that my prescription had not changed and did not seem concerned about the discrepancy between what the doctor told me and what was documented. When I asked if they could follow up with the doctor, I was told that she would be back in two weeks and that they couldn’t contact her directly. I even offered to email or have them send a message, but was told that wasn’t possible. Because of the lack of support, I had to contact my insurance, get a new authorization, and go to a different doctor for another exam. That second exam confirmed that my prescription actually HAD changed. If I hadn’t double-checked myself, I could have ended up ordering glasses with the wrong prescription. That’s a serious issue. I understand that mistakes can happen, but what was most concerning was the lack of willingness to investigate or help resolve the situation. I would strongly recommend double-checking your prescription before ordering glasses here.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
