  Today I arrived about 10 minutes late to my Pilates class because there was an accident on the road, which was completely outside of my control. Unfortunately, I was not allowed to join the class because their policy does not allow anyone to enter if they are more than 5 minutes late. I understand that the studio has rules and a schedule, but I was very disappointed by the complete lack of flexibility and understanding in this situation. I had already paid for the class, spent money on gas, and used my time to get there, and there were also plenty of open spots in the class. I was not late on purpose, and I did not expect to be turned away over just a few extra minutes. I believe situations like this should be handled with a little more understanding, especially when the delay is caused by something outside of the customer’s control and when allowing them into the class would not inconvenience anyone else. Unfortunately, this experience left me with a very negative impression of the customer service and the way clients are treated.

  Mixed feelings about this place. Not very many “great” instructors, but Maria is amazing! She really cares about the people taking her class. Making sure to walk up and down the aisle and correct any issues. This makes a huge difference in our experience. I do want to acknowledge Kathleen has made such a positive difference in this place as a manager. I like her better as a manager, than an instructor. I docked 2 stars for some of my frustrations. For the couple classes I took with Traci and Annie, both of them were just off their game. Making us redo activities we’d already done and not giving good direction overall. I was especially embarrassed for Annie’s class as I had a friend travel out to join me. My friend won’t ever go to Schaumburg again, but I know the few folks there are worth the try. Lastly, a small gripe, but I wish they’d do better than give 1 measly sanitation wipe for our stations. By the time I get through cleaning halfway, the wipe is already dry. Since so many people come for these classes, it would be good to adopt better cleaning habits.

  My only complaint is that I didn’t discover this sooner. AWESOME class! I did a one class pass for $35 and went to the level 1 and it was great. I was very stiff because I sit all day and this just loosened everything up and gave me a workout too! I will definitely be going back, at least once per week but maybe twice.

  I love Pilates! This has been my favorite way to workout for the past 5 months now and I don’t plan on ever stopping!
