  Everyone was very friendly and personable! I'm sorry I waited 10 years to go back for an exam. Dr. Lear was very thorough and informative in comparing my last visit and explaining the differences.

  Best optometric experience we've had to date (I went with my girlfriend)! Everyone was very nice, and made every step of the process easy and straightforward from the moment we walked in. After filling out paperwork, we were waiting for maybe a minute before we were called in. We opted to do the extra eye imaging, and even got to keep a copy of the pictures (they look really cool). This was done first. After, the doctor was already ready, so it was right to the exam room. Doctor Grace Sigler is very good at what she does, and seems passionate to boot. Something I really appreciated was being told that I don't really need glasses if I don't want them. I hate it when businesses try to pigeon-hole you into a pair of glasses, even if your prescription/astigmatism doesn't require them. Honesty is the best policy here. And, once we were back outside, I did opt to get a pair of glasses, as did my girlfriend. The girl taking care of us was just as invested in the process as we were. And not in the "please get out as soon as possible kind of way," but in a way that was actually friendly, personable, and disarming. The staff even weighed in to help my girlfriend pick the pair that felt right for her. And, to put the cherry on top, we didn't realize they closed at 5:00 until a bit after. And it was because I looked it up on a hunch. At no point did anyone rush us or make us uncomfortable, even though they could have. So we finished picking our options, paid, and left. We will be going back, and recommending Rock Island Optometric Center to anyone who needs the recommendation.

  I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Lear! The level of care was excellent. My exam was very thorough and finding the exact right prescription was achieved. Rock Island Optometric Center is my new home for eye care and prescriptions. The staff were friendly and professional.

  This is the place to go for great customer service, friendly staff and a special shoutout to Dr. Abigail Sharp and for Sophie and her sidekick for helping her and I make a decision on eyeglasses and pricing! Explained everything step by step both doctor and ladies and I felt very welcomed and very grateful for this opportunity to meet them and be taken care of extremely well!!
