First time coming here and the tech was great very friendly, and Vicky was also really nice, friendly helped me decide on a great pair of frames and was able to find a coupon for me to get the pair I really liked. Helped me stick to something different which is what I really wanted. Overall great experience.

I would like to start by saying every time I have been in the store. Vicki, who is the assistant manager Is never very friendly. She's not very helpful and it feels as if she doesn't even want to help you. The first time I thought maybe she was having a bad day, but I have been in the store 4 times and it's the same. I purchased glasses here and I was having issues with my AI frames and ray ban issued a voucher for me to get a new pair. I brought in the voucher and one associate said they needed an override, but the assistant manager Vicki. Refused to override it. My glasses only worked for a month. And then stopped working. Based on my experience with other associates, there are a few others that would be a better fit as a manager than her. Even if you aren't unable to use the voucher, there is a way that you tell the customer. Very rude!!!
Update: my 1 star turned into a 5 star review. Curtis took care of my complaint right away and ordered a replacement pair of glasses. Vickie was nicer when I went to pick them up. Curtis thank you so much for prompt response and turning my experience around!!!!

My daughter needed glasses, but we were leaving for a trip soon and needed a fast turn around. LensCrafters was able to make them within 24 hours and were very accommodating! Jamaya helped us and was so kind and patient (especially with my two youngest who were very curious about everything!) She made the process incredibly easy and quick and was so sweet on top of it! We were very stressed about the whole ordeal and she made it smooth and painless!

Once we got BACK to my car , close the doors, & took out my cell to snap a pic. We walked in at 12:08 or 12:09 pm. Turned around by 2 employees bc "there is a 10 minute grace period." not 1 customer waiting for an eye exam. Peoria LensCrafters is the worst location in the 10 states we have lived in our Military career. Entitled workers that are turning paying customers away ? Cancelling my daughters appt & switching to a diff company. In this economy when MOST Americans do not have insurance. My family of 5 will not return to a L.C. while in Central IL. GOOD Riddance !
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
