  I've been getting eyeglasses from Lupe at Pearle Vision for 6 or 7 years now and she never fails to get me into great fitting frames with ideal lens upgrades. As I had vision insurance that was expiring and extra FSA money that needed to be spent, she recently managed to make the numbers work for me to get 4 new pairs. My wife has also started getting her eyeglasses from Lupe and is pleased she switched.

  I thought I had something stuck in my eye, so I went to see Dr. Shiple. She was very thorough, which immediately put me at ease. She was also incredibly professional and kind, making sure everything was okay every step of the way. I was extremely impressed from start to finish. My kids have all seen Dr. McCartan and absolutely loved her as well. We will definitely all be back.

  If I could give 0 stars, I would. Dr. Shiple and her team are all about the funds. You are a dollar sign in their eyes, not a patient. My family and I have been coming here for years. We’ve spent hundreds on hundreds for eye exams and glasses. I came in over 6 months ago for an eye exam for contact lenses. After the exam was complete, Dr. Shiple was pushing for me to purchase daily’s in stead of monthly’s, as I’m a nurse. Of course she wouldn’t take no for an answer instead of just putting my request in for monthly’s, she insisted as daily’s cost soooo much more and she was on a mission. After an awkward encounter of not being able to deny her desire for daily’s, I gave in and said I’d try them out for the samples. They said I needed to come back for a “training” on how to put in contacts. When I got a phone call later that week to schedule the test, I simply told them I didn’t need the training but if it was a requirement, then fine. They told me that it wasn’t required and I could opt out of the training. Per usual, life goes on and I work two jobs back to back. I wanted to purchase my contacts from somewhere else because they were too expensive. Now that I have time 7 months later and I need it for my new job that I started and given I’m under one year (only 7 months from my exam), she wouldn’t update my prescription for monthly’s and said I would need to come back in and pay for an entire new exam because she simply has to “see them on my eyes” is what I was told. Yeah, no way. I’ll take my business and family’s business elsewhere. I shouldn’t be charged again, especially given you guys told me to not come back for the fitting. I finalized the prescription with them, and THEY EVEN EMAILED ME THE PRESCRIPTION, but apparently it was never finalized. Unbelievable, do not get gouged the way I did from this establishment. This was simply bad business.

  Went for my yearly eye exam and needless to say the experience was top notch, from the moment we walked in to being greeted to the final goodbye. The entire staff is welcoming, professional and friendly. Dr McCartan is the best and Nimah is very helpful and knowledgeable; she also remembered my husband and I from last years visit. Would definitely recommend Pearle Vision Orland Park locations - you will not be disappointed!!

  I came into Pearle Vision expecting a frustrating experience, but thanks to Rita, it turned into one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. There were a few issues at the start that easily could have led to a negative review—miscommunication, delays, and some confusion around my order. I was honestly prepared to leave disappointed. But then Rita stepped in, and everything changed. She listened carefully, took full ownership of the situation, and handled everything with professionalism and genuine care. Instead of brushing things off, she made sure I felt heard and prioritized. She went above and beyond to fix the problem quickly and kept me updated the whole time. What really stood out was her attitude—calm, patient, and determined to make things right. By the time I left, not only was my issue resolved, but I felt valued as a customer. Rita completely turned what could have been a bad review into the best review I could give. Pearle Vision is lucky to have someone like her on their team. I’ll definitely be coming back because of her!
