After a year away from any type of gym or fitness studio, I decided it was time to get back into something I used to love to do, and I turned to Club Pilates Oak Park to help me get back into the swing of things as someone with a love-hate relationship with fitness. I am the type of person who needs a safe space to exercise and people around me who feel supportive and encouraging, and at Club Pilates Oak Park, I found exactly that. I invested in an unlimited membership and have attended over 50 classes so far. Every instructor I've worked with has been amazing, but a I want to give a special shoutout to Pete J., who's made working out feel fun for me again. His classes are challenging, he always helps me push myself a little harder, but most importantly, he makes me WANT to be in the room. I wake up and look forward to being in class because of the energy he brings to the studio, and it's because of him that I continue to call Club Pilates Oak Park one of my "homes" now. As long as Pete is teaching, I'll be going to Club Pilates Oak Park! (Plus, he's a Cubs fan!)

Extremely unprofessional experience from start to finish. Staff communication was poor, questions were brushed off, and the overall customer service felt careless and disorganized. The environment did not feel welcoming or well managed at all. For a business that expects people to trust them with memberships and commitments, they should handle customers with a lot more professionalism and respect. Definitely disappointed with the experience.

Very disappointed with how this company handled my situation. I had been communicating with them for months explaining my circumstances — I’m currently pregnant, unemployed, and no longer living in the area. Despite being transparent and trying to work with them, they still proceeded to charge my card $199. What makes this even worse is that my card was locked, and I never received the phone calls they claimed they made regarding removing the freeze on my account. This was never clearly discussed with me beforehand, nor properly authorized verbally. Instead of showing understanding during an emergency and financial hardship, they chose to ignore my concerns and refuse a refund. Customer service and compassion clearly do not matter to this company once they have your payment information. I would strongly recommend others be cautious when dealing with memberships and billing with this company.

I would not recommend this place, particularly for people of color. My friends and family booked an introductory class nearly two months ago, but the experience was marked by repeated cancellations and inconsistent communication. After multiple scheduling issues, we called to confirm everything had been resolved. During that conversation, a staff member made an inappropriate remark asking whether we were “actually coming to participate or just to play,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional, as if our time and commitment were not being taken seriously. This was especially frustrating given that we are all working professionals who value our time and have been committed to our fitness journeys. Despite this, we chose to give the business another opportunity. Unfortunately, our reservations were canceled again just days before the scheduled class, with the explanation that they “need people who actually want to sign up.” This felt unfair and judgmental, as we were not given a genuine opportunity to participate. Overall, the experience was disappointing and left us feeling dismissed and disrespected

My friends and family were so excited to come to an intro class scheduled for May 3rd at Noon. Unfortunately, there were “issues” with scheduling and some reservations were canceled, after they were confirmed. We sorted it out, or so we thought. Last week, additional confirmation texts and calls were sent by your team members, when we were ALL already confirmed for our class. Today, we were informed that we were all being canceled because they want to reserve the class for those who, “actually want to sign up”. We signed up for the FREE intro class back in March! We wanted to give it a try and then sign up if we liked it. We were never given that chance. I believe we were judged based on our names at registration. We’ve had issues since. It’s Otherwise, why cancel? If there’s only 12 spots why allow 23 to register? I’m disappointed and disgusted in the way this was handled. I’ll never support this location. So glad, I never paid my hard earned money to attend a class.
