The employees were all nice and professional, but the prices were much higher than the commercials show. The prices are a bit deceptive and much higher than thought to be.
They do separate the charges for exam and glasses, they overcharged us by 70 cents, from the paperwork to the billing amounts. The 70 cents were not any concern but do that enough times and reap the windfall.
I will rewrite this review after my new glasses come in and hope all goes well.

Disappointing Experience
I had an appointment for my daughter at Warby Parker in Oak Brook, yesterday at 9:00 AM. We arrived a few minutes early, but the doors were still locked at 9:00. Once we were able to get inside and check in, we were told that her insurance information could not be found in the system.
I was asked to call my HR department to verify her name, date of birth, and insurance coverage, which I did. Everything was confirmed. The staff member then contacted corporate to verify the information, and corporate confirmed that my daughter was, in fact, in the system and covered. This process understandably took some time.
What was especially frustrating is that I had already provided the insurance information when I received the confirmation call prior to the appointment. None of the insurance issue was caused by me, yet while we were trying to resolve it, I was eventually told that the optometrist could no longer see my daughter because our appointment time had passed.
At that point, I was offered another appointment for a different day. Unfortunately, after spending the time and energy to get there and having the appointment fall apart because of an issue on their end, I decided I will not be returning.
The biggest issue for me was the lack of customer service, communication, and awareness of the situation. There should have been a better process in place to handle an insurance/system issue without penalizing the customer for the time it took to resolve it.
If you have an appointment here, I strongly recommend double- and triple-checking that your insurance information is completely verified in their system before you arrive. Otherwise, you may end up wasting your time for something that isn’t within your control.
I expected a much better experience from Warby Parker and was very disappointed.

God forbid you are late a few minutes… we contacted Warby Parker about being late and they sque they would communicate the info to the Oak Brook location. Upon arrival 14 minutes late we were told we couldn’t be seen and that the eye doctor had an emergency and had to leave. I’m pretty certain they were lying but anyway. It sucked and they couldn’t care less about us as customers.

The staff member that helped me was so friendly, efficient and very helpful in picking the best frames for me. My questions and concerns were satisfactorily addressed, all in all a greatly positive experience!

Absolutely terrible experience. We went into the store on 7/3. Despite being handed the exact glasses in the exact color I wanted, the associate still managed to order the wrong color. She was completely rude and acted like we were in the way for most of the visit despite spending our money on two pairs of glasses. When I went to give her my address, she acted like I was speaking gibberish and was completely rude. It was only after receiving my order that I found out she ordered the wrong color. When I went to get them replaced online, I was assured twice that my replacement would arrive only to find out today that they never submitted a replacement. None of this would have happened had the unhelpful associate not placed the wrong order. Both the in-store and online experiences showed me I will never use Warby Parker again.
