- NDNick Davila4 days ago5.0Great experience at Mattoon Community Eye Care. The staff was friendly and called me when they had a cancellation. They asked if I could be there in 10 minutes, and they got me right in. Dr. Bowman was great—friendly, professional, and took the time to answer my questions without making the appointment feel rushed. They got my eye exam done, ordered my new glasses, and even gave me a pair of trial contact lenses to get me by. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Overall, it was a smooth, easy visit with great customer service. I’d definitely recommend Dr. Bowman and the team at Mattoon Community Eye Care.

- TMTracy MitchellJul 30, 20261.0This place was top notch when Dr. Goldstein was there. But, not so much anymore. Dr. Bowman and the staff are nice and professional. My complaint is with the lenses. I paid out of pocket for glasses in April had for less than 30 days and they developed a film right in the center of the left lens. I only use the cloth they gave me to clean so I know it wasn’t scratches from cleaning. I returned them and they didn’t know why that happened so they ordered me a new set of lenses. Which I was grateful for. But it’s now July only been about 2 months tops and the same thing same place same lens. I’m so frustrated! 😡😭
