Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

This pharmacy probably has the rudest staff out of any pharmacy in this town. There is a gentleman by the name of James that works here that throws fits and slams things when you confront him about a basic problem. He walks away and sends the pharmacist over to handle the problem In the middle of throwing his fit. The female pharmacist with short hair from Chicago/up north does not have a very pleasant attitude. It is hard to hire friendly staff when rudeness is encouraged and also dished out just as bad by the pharmacist in charge. During future visits when I would pull up in the drive thru and James was at the window he would start by saying hi how can I help you and when he saw it was me he would put the phone down and run away only to send someone else over. This was incredibly awkward and there was simply no reason for it. I don't understand the childish behavior. The original problem is we were frustrated that our prescription that we had been trying to fill for three days still wasn't ready. We were quoted two hours and showed up four hours later and were told it wasn't ready. James very strongly told us he didn't know what to tell us. When we said this wasn't okay and we needed our medication due to being sick is when James started throwing a fit and the pharmacist stepped in. We were told by the pharmacist that she was slammed and we need to understand she has to give injections and answer phones and do sooooo many other things other than just fill medicine. I explained we have waited on this medicine for days and she said they would get to it when they could but she couldn't move my place in line just because I was present. They don't have a policy in place where if you arrive they go ahead and get your medicine ready while you wait. I was told they don't care if you're there, your medicine has to sit wherever it is in their que and will not be filled until it's your turn. We also noticed that they close the drive up 30 - 45 minutes before they are supposed to according to their hours and we were told if we were in line and it was time for their lunch break they won't wait on us until after their lunch break. We were also told that if it is closing time they won't work through the line either, they just put a sign up in the window that they are closed regardless of how long you've had waited in line and close up. We switched pharmacies and have been having a terrible time finding one that isn't very similar to what we experienced here. So far we have switched three separate times. I don't know how these people are remaining employed at the pharmacies in this town, it's terrible.
