  I enjoyed the time at the Spring Fling. We colored pictures and visited with Staff and other caregivers. Enjoyed the snacks.

  As of September 3, 2025, I pulled my mother out of this agency and switched her care to a highly rated provider—and I will never look back. This company does not provide client-centered care. Becky the field supervisor i later found out has had multiple complaints, yet nothing has changed. I've been in the medical field for 20 years and worked with alot of agencies and Addus Joliet is one of the worse. To allow someone like Becky in particular to be trusted to interact with vulnerable people and then they try to defend her. That tells me the agency either doesn’t care or refuses to hold staff accountable. I will not risk my mother’s well-being under their watch. I will stand toe to toe with any person at Addus or any agency at that if they think I will ever allow her to speak to my mother in the manner as she did. If you value your loved one’s health and dignity, think twice before choosing this company. Their low ratings are not an accident—they are a reflection of the poor care and lack of accountability. Don’t make the same mistake I did. They come off very friendly, nice and concerned about your loved ones. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!!

  I do not recommend Addus/Joliet as they use deceptive tactics to lure new clients. Care Coordinator Harriet & Supervisor Maria Davila returned phone calls until a caregiver was assigned. The caregiver showed up 45 min late, leaves early, calls off last minute, sits on her cell phone instead of servicing the client, and no one from Addus responds to switch the caregiver when you reach out about concerns. They take advantage of the elderly.
