- BBbikerVJul 2, 20265.0I was pleasantly surprised by the high level of service. The eye doctor was wonderful and skilled. The technician was very thorough with my frame and lense selection and even fixed my old frames. Over the last 30 years this has been the best optical experience of my life!
- SBSusie BJun 30, 20261.0My son (17 year old, technically a minor) went to Target optical in Glenview to get yearly eye exam done. We used to go Costco optical. Now my husband new insurance covers eye exam from Target ($10 copay for eye exam). So I sent my son to Target optical first, and I followed him 20 minutes later. I found out that I had to pay $45 instead of $10 copay that I should have paid. They did retinal exam without asking parent. I was so upset and complained that he didn't need retinal exam. He got that done last year already from Costco. Lady from Target optical said retinal exam should be done yearly and since he got that done already cannot wave $35. They are apparently doing deceptive practice making money from minor like this. Also their glasses cost was about $400 while $200 from Costco.
