I have never had issues with my lenses for my entire life but within months of purchasing from For Eyes for the first time I need to replace my lenses due to deep scratches. I keep meticulous care of my glasses and would go years between lenses only changing if my prescription required it but from June to September I already cannot wear these to read because of the poor quality and multiple scratches on the inside of the lenses. As the manager pointed out, I know accidents can happen but given I wear these on my face all day long I can confirm I am not aware of anything that could have or should have reasonably caused this (especially on the inside of the lens). They want to sell you protection plans to cover shoddy quality otherwise you are on the hook for new lenses yet claim to “stand behind their products”. In all my years wearing and purchasing glasses/lenses I have never had a worse experience. Dr Burke is absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend him! But do not purchase lenses from For Eyes. I purchased sunglasses from Warby Parker that get rougher treatment (sand, sun, ocean spray) online at the same time since this store didn’t have any frames that fit me and they don’t have any damage but the lenses from For Eyes already need replacement.
