Horrible company that is more concerned with enrollment than actual care. My parent was referred to hospice and I went with Journey Care because I had heard of them. First issue, when a referral is sent over your bombarded with intake calls. My family member was referred at the Holidays and they called me Christmas eve, the day after Christmas and the following Sunday on repeat. I asked the person to wait for me until after the holiday but they continue nonstop. Once my parent was enrolled it took forever for supplies even though you can't get supplies from your prior company. Once your enroll in hospice they take over everything from supplies to medications. If your loved ones medication is proved to be 'life saving'., it won't be approved. I was told they will review it and 'most meds are approved'. This was not true. My family member died very shortly after enrolling and the person from journey care on call took 2 hours to arrive and help me with arrangement. The nurse who was at my home with me when my parent just past away, called a friend to set up breakfast while sitting in the living room with me. The nurse was supposed to stop the supplies for me. They did not. For the next few days after my love one passed, supplies continued to arrive. Then the nurse and cna working my loved ones case didn't even call me to offer condolences. I received a call from bereavement two weeks after my love one passed, even though I was told they would call that week. The social worker called days later but wasn't even aware my loved one had passed. I received a letter of condolence from Journey Care a month after they died and no card nothing. Horrible from start to finish. My advice go with a smaller company where you are treated like a human and not a business transaction.

Guys please check this place out. My story it’s been a long journey for me when my dad passed last year 2024. I was all along until I ran into this young lady that told me about this place in how they can help, but let me be honest family is going to die regardless in people think hospice is there to hurt you, no they are there to make the person feel comfortable including you as the person who has to take on the responsibility of watching them pass away, so please don’t over think it. It is what it is. Please guys if you need help reach out to this card I have posted I promise you, you will be just find god bless !!!

JourneyCare Hospice cared for my father during the final months of his life, and their compassion and dedication made an indelible impact on our family. For about four months, their team demonstrated unwavering thoughtfulness and care, not just for my dad, but for all of us. Tim, the chaplain, Donna, the social worker, Hailey, the nurse, and Jessica, the CNA, were instrumental in easing this difficult journey. Their incredible care for my dad, combined with their clear guidance on what to expect at each stage, brought us comfort during an otherwise challenging time. They consistently went above and beyond to support us, and we are deeply grateful for everything they did. In addition to the core team, other staff members would call to check in, ensuring our supply orders were handled and offering assistance whenever needed. If your family is facing the need for hospice care for a loved one, I wholeheartedly recommend JourneyCare.
