I booked an appointment at this location and received a reminder the night before. When I arrived for my appointment I was told that I was not on the calendar and that the doctor had already left. As I work full time and am going abroad in a couple weeks, I needed to receive my new glasses and contact before I leave but there is no more availability. I highly suggest calling MULTIPLE times prior to your appointment to make certain they have you on their schedule.

Review written 4/26/2026. Jose the manager helped with my glasses purchase. Very professional, patient, friendly. Was willing to go the extra mile to look up design options of glasses online. Also showed me in depth what lens coatings i was getting, and reviewed lens options for people like me with a lot of light sensitivity. Also showed me exactly how much money I owed per pair of glasses, before charging it to me. Turned around iPad screen to show me. Also he went the extra mile to add each pair separately to the digital cart which allowed me to apply 2 Target promos to the cart Great experience, can’t wait to get my glasses. Note this Target Optical is located in a Target with underground parking deck on a very busy street in Chicago Parking is free

This last trip to Target Optical really was top notch. Omar from the 4110 Elston location helped me. Although he was visiting he really made a lot of effort to ensure I had a great experience as I was returning to complete an order I initiated some days ago. He double checked all of the details and ensured the correct adjustments were made with my insurance etc. I appreciated all of his work and know he is a valuable asset to the team.
