  I went to my first SoulCycle class yesterday at LOOP and had an amazing time. The whole team were super welcoming. Great workout. Plus, it was my birthday and the front of house team plus the instructor (Isiah) were really sweet and even brought a candle for me at the end. Will definitely come back to this brand when I’m in Chicago next!

  The front desk lady was super rude; I don't understand how studios can still hire staff like that. When I asked where the changing room was, she just told me to “ask someone else.” It was my first time at SoulCycle, and when I came out of class, I saw that money had been charged to my account for the shoes (for first-timers, this is actually free. I also mentioned that it was my first time at the studio). When I tried to speak to a staff member, there was no one left at the entrance. The only positive thing was the instructor and his class, but I would never go back to that studio.

  I was really excited for my SoulCycle class, but the experience was immediately soured by the staff. I asked three different employees (and emailed days beforehand) for parking information, and every single time I got the same vague, unhelpful response. In person I was given a random point at a wall and “across there.” Parking lots have addresses. A little effort or clarity would’ve gone a long way. Instead, the staff came off as ditsy, disengaged, and honestly pretty rude. It felt off-putting before I even made it to class. For a brand that prides itself on “community” and good energy, the vibes were rancid. Customer service needs serious work.
