We welcome your current prescription, and work with all major health and vision plans including EyeMed, VSP and UnitedHealthcare. Many of our locations are now EyeMed PLUS Providers. Check with your EyeCare Center to see which insurance plans are accepted. Eye exams available at the independent doctor of optometry at or next to Pearle Vision. Doctors in some states are employed by Pearle Vision.

Price about 1/3 the price quoted at Custom Eyes Southport and done in a few days rather than weeks. The lack of hard core upsell is a pleasant change from the other place also. Andrea is a joy to work with and seems to like her job, which you don’t see much these days. I look forward to working with her again.

She really took the time to listen to my concerns and made adjustments to my vision based on what I was experiencing instead of making me feel rushed. She was also extremely thorough and took the time to explain the photos that were taken of my eyes, what she was looking at, and what everything meant. I really appreciated how attentive, knowledgeable, and patient she was throughout my entire exam. Overall, I had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend Dr. Howard and Pearle Vision to anyone looking for an eye doctor who truly listens to their patients!
