Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

When I transferred my scrips over I was told that the longest wait for any of them to get filled would be 1 day.
Well, here we are a week out, they didn't bother to tell me they were out of stock until 5 days after I requested a refill. Told me no ETA on when they can get it, and then had the audacity to tell me they would not transfer my scrip to a pharmacy that did have my very common medication in stock (and I never had a problem with stock issues when I had this at Walgreens.)
And since this experience has been so bad, might as well mention that this is the only pharmacy in the past 10+ years I've gone to that doesn't keep hand sanitizer by the check out. I asked for a bag for my scrip because it's gross to put pharmacy stuff (where all the sick people have been) in with food I just bought. Told they'd have to charge me for that. So they'd rather run a charge against their payment processor than offer up something that is basic common sense. Of course they didn't ask me if I wanted a bag BEFORE I checked out.
Goodbye and good riddance to a pharmacy that somehow makes Walgreens look absolutely top-tier customer service orientated. What a joke.
I'm switching to Capsule, not only will they deliver everything same day, they will auto refill, which this pharmacy won't. (But Walgreens would, too-- so make that make sense?)

The people in this pharmacy are very friendly and accommodating. I've had a few small issues as with most pharmacies, but I have absolutely no problems I think it's very convenient to have it right where I'm shopping for groceries.
What I like best is my insurance covers everything through their system. That's a pretty difficult thing when you're on Medicaid.
