- MSMegan SomersApr 14, 20265.0What initially brought me to Mitchem Dental was a cosmetic emergency. I wasn’t their patient, my veneer that broke was not originally placed at this dental clinic. I was going out of town early the next morning and they understood my issue was time sensitive. The staff contacted me immediately after leaving a voicemail (they were in an early staff meeting and weren’t open yet) and got me in within 2 hours no questions asked and they fixed my veneer at an extremely affordable price. I was looking for a new dentist anyway so before I left I made appointments for myself and two of my children. My insurance was “out of network” for them but something felt right so I trusted my gut and kept the appointments. Their waiting area is clean, comfortable and kid friendly with a lot of toys. This was important because this was my 3 year olds first dental visit and she was excited to be there once she saw this. The hygienists were kind and patient with her and she did amazing. My oldest daughter who is soon 8 also had a pleasant visit. Without sharing any private health information the dentist and the rest of the staff provided education, proper referrals, and care plans for all three of us with zero pressure. If you have had cosmetic dental work done you can understand the cost and common misconceptions that come with it and I didn’t feel obligated or pressured to do anything which was a huge relief. There were so many other pleasantries during our visit I can’t name them all. I’m so appreciative of everyone at Mitchem Dental and they have gained a family of new patients!
