  I am so glad Walgreens now has an Optical Department!! I went to the Buffalo Grove, IL location - closest to me; I will not go all the way downtown to the one on Michigan Ave. The staff is very nice and helpful; they made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I was examined by Dr. Saed, who is no longer there; she went to the River Forest location - boo hoo! I like her so much. She was professional and down to earth. She did a great job. I purchased a pair of new glasses upon the recommendation of all of the staff members, including Dr. Saed. They are so helpful and friendly! What's more, I didn't have to pay a lot; all inexpensive so I didn't have to take out a loan or go into debt for a pair of new glasses. I have bifocal vision so progressive lenses are required for me, which is always expensive. But not so this time. Quality products, excellent staff and service at an affordable price. I recommend Walgreens Optical Department highly!

  Got eye exams and glasses (& Rx sunglasses) at this location for myself and my 7 year old daughter. Extremely friendly staff and the optometrist is awesome & personable. Extremely convenient.
