  Worst experience ever Egar The sales associate is a very unprofessional does not know and does not inform Customer/patient, Totally ignores Customer request when doing the glasses and then when problem accures trying to shove it under the rug-Cannot even answer a question when problem occurs. Or gives two different answers Was going there to get my And my family’s glasses for years this time it was my last time I stepped my foot in that facility. The unprofessionalism that I received is unacceptable. And yes, I lost my temper, and I did swear in a store As probably many of you would’ve done it the same

  My family has been going to for eyes for years and I’ve always had a good experience. This time, I booked an appointment for my husband and I back to back because we have our 16 month old. My husband went for his appointment while I waited at home with our baby, since we only are 10 minutes away from the location. My husband got taken 10 minutes later then his appointment start time, which is expected with medical appointments. However, this cause my husband’s appointment to end right at the time mine would’ve started. My husband told the staff that I would be a few minutes late and they told him “okay.” I showed up 12 minutes after my appointment Start time and was told I missed the 10 minute grace period (which I was unaware of) and needed to reschedule. I explained my husband told them I’d be late. They claimed they didn’t know the correlation of relationship with my appointment (we have the same last name lol) and that they were never told I’d be late. I never got a call asking if I was still coming while being late or of the grace period. It’s hard enough trying to schedule appointments as we work during the week and having a baby so I was frustrated.

  Hello Customer Service, I have to give this compliment right now following my call with an exceptional staff member at the For Eyes Bolingbrook location on Weber Road. His name is Eder. I was calling to figure out my best options for re-ordering my eyeglass frames and lenses with updated prescription from a recent eye exam. He took the time to be sure we had the right prescription, found the right frames to reorder, figured out insurance, pricing/discounts, and answered every question I threw at him. While I did not intend to take up so much of his time as I'm sure there were also customers in store, I never felt rushed off the call. He was the most knowledgeable, friendly, informative, thorough, and understanding person I have ever encountered on a service call. For better or worse, being a type A with high expectations, I do not frequently make recommendations or give compliments unless they are truly warranted. I cannot say enough about the exceptional care Eder put into our call. Also, given the reasons I needed to get this order figured out and placed today, which I didn't even share with him, I want to sincerely thank Eder for his time today. I also want to express how fortunate For Eyes is to have Eder representing the company - congrats on an amazing hire! I will be posting this review on Yelp as well, but wanted to be sure it lands in the right hands for Eder to receive the recognition I believe truly exceptional employees deserve, especially when they are in customer service roles dealing with the general public.
