I have been attending Club Pilates on Amity for 2 months and it's been so awesome. All the instructors are super helpful and will help with form, adjusting resistance and making modifications when needed. I have been having joint/ligament pain issues for the last 8 months and was terrified to try instructor led classes... Thinking they would be annoyed when I couldn't do everything... This team is not like that. There are all ages and abilities attending these classes and I'm so thankful I found them because they help anyone and everyone who wants to participate!

Club Pilates - Amity was my soft landing place after receiving a cancer diagnosis. I still wanted to move by body, but in a way that made sense and supported my healing journey. I cannot say enough kind things about each of the instructors. They were attentive and educated, and worked with me throughout my journey. The instructors were able to provide modifications as needed, and helped me adapt my workouts as I worked to regain my strength and mobility. You can tell they truly care about each of the members that walk into their studio and are committed to providing everyone an individualized experience, even in a group class setting. I am relocating out of town, and will miss this studio terribly. I cannot recommend CP-Amity enough to anyone looking to have a great workout alongside a sense of community and belonging.

I wasn't very impressed with the few classes I took. One thing that really bothered me was the requirement to wear sticky socks. Even with them, my feet slipped around, which made me feel less stable during the exercises. From what I understand, Joseph Pilates originally developed this method to be practiced barefoot so you could better feel your connection to the equipment and improve balance and body awareness.
I also didn't like having to clean the equipment before leaving. While I understand the importance of keeping the studio clean, it made the overall experience feel less enjoyable.
The exercises themselves were fine, and the instructor's cueing was adequate, but I expected more precise guidance and attention to form. Overall, the classes didn't meet my expectations, and I don't think I will not be returning.
