  I have been a patient for around three years. The staff has always been welcoming and friendly. I'm informed about what's about to be done and encouraged to let them know if I'm experiencing any discomfort during the process. I appreciate the attentiveness to detail and thorough information.   I can’t believe what a “pot of gold” I found in this dental group! I have to say, I loved the dentist Dr DELWYN Dick and the hygienist Jessica, and her tech Brooke. Having just moved up to this area in the last year, I sought recommendations and I got this one from my window tinter, Shawn Watson who mentioned that his wife ( such a lovely little lady) was the office manager for 25 ish years… I had nothing to lose to act on this recommendation and found out I gained everything that I needed and wanted in my dental needs and care. I’ve been to other dental offices in my past where I felt they took advantage of what they could do and what was needed, and I didn’t feel that way whatsoever in this office. Thank you again for being such a great team at Kootenai Dental

  As a veteran referral to the dentist I've wait for damn near a month to do a root canal. His office said they haven't received the codes to proceed, I called the VA and talked to community care and they indicated they sent it to them back on May 13th. However the original referral was sooner, by talking to another dentist who will be doing the crown. Anyway, when talking to the VA community care called them and they got the referral initially and didn't open the email, which h allows the to proceed with the root canal. Im not sure if I should go to them, if this is how they operate, makes me wonder how their dental work is.

  I had my first dentist appointment in ten years here, just today. My teeth are very crowded and my smile is my biggest insecurity. I procrastinated seeing someone for so long out of embarrassment and fear that I would be talked down to or pressured into doing things I wasn't comfortable with. I'm so happy to say that none of those fears were realized! There's a good reason this place is rated so highly; everyone was so kind and professional, from the people at reception to my dental assistant, Sam, and hygienist, Michaela, and of course, Dr. Delwyn. No one shamed me. It was a comfortable and efficient environment. As an autistic person, I also found the waiting room to be calming. The colors are muted and I enjoyed the sound of the running water they had on one of the walls. All in all, I highly recommend this place, not just to the average person but also to those who might feel scared by dentists.
