I'm in CDA on vacation and was delighted to be able to work out at Pure Barre while I'm in town. I had a question about membership and something replied to my email straightaway with the information I needed - super helpful! The studio is centrally located, plenty of parking, and provides a fantastic workout. Thank you!

Quality instruction. Workouts well designed to strengthen and to incorporate principles of alignment and anatomy both. Fun music. Confident instructors who adjust individually for proper alignment. They also show positive attitudes and laughter can often be heard and shared.

My first two class's were amazing. My muscles felt great while working in class and then the next day I could feel a good soreness that indicated growth and strengthening. I am not a class person, I have not attended a 'GYM' on a regular basis since HS - 40 years ago. My 3rd class I was corrected several times by the instructor to do the exercise differently and she showed me how. My. muscles did not feel like they were worked, I did not have a good sore the day after, but rather lower back pain and severe knee pain, especially when walking up stairs (which I have to do many many times a day at home) or when bending down. Since I was not able to attend class, I asked to place my account on pause, of course for a fee, and now I have to pay my monthly membership fee and late charges rather than be released from agreement due to injury while I still cannot bend knees with any weight bearing. I have never needed a doctor, do not even have one, but to be released I have to provide a doctors note. This is a great place to work out if you have the extra money to loose if you cannot continue classes. Be careful to pushing your body at the instruction of the instructor. I was doing great until that happened, I was looking forward to the transformation I probably would of been able to achieve, I was excited, did not mind the hour drive to class. I am a farm wife and now have a knee injury that will compromise all the work spring brings here at home. I share to say use caution, your body knows what it can handle verses what the instructor who works out all week tells you to do. ( I was corrected and given specific instruction on how to move 4 different times in one class). In Hindsight, I should not have listened at all. Lesson learned - the hard way **** Update: Good news, it took awhile but after asking several times to talk to the owner and denied, I wrote this review and I received a email from her. I have been released from my contract without paying the remainder for the months I cannot use (simple request/simple answer) As I said above, this is a great class, I really enjoyed it, use wisdom, listen to YOUR body and I have no doubt you will see amazing results. Hopefully my knee issue will heal and I will find a great routine also.
