- ASAnder Ford SchumannMay 13, 20261.0Crazy outrageously expensive. Unwilling to match competitor prices. After having an eye exam and then liking some Oakley Frames, and being quoted over $250 in store for the frames at Pearle Vision in Boise, I looked online and through EZ Contacts found the same item for $122.78. (Less than half price). I was told from the manager that I was welcome to purchase the frames elsewhere and they would still make and install lenses for me. When my frames arrived I went in (today) and was now informed that I would have to pay an extra $25 fee for using my Frames. She tried to explain it as an extra time cost for using my frames because they had to take extra time being careful... B.S. I already had to sign a release of liability in case they break them). I feel taken advantage of, being over charged for no reason that justifies the charge and plan to file a complaint. I already signed a release of liability, the company already utilizes these frames (so why the upcharge)? Why the 100 percent markup on frames? MONEY MONEY MONEY ! this is not a company that cares about its customers it only cares about generating excessive profits. I will not come back to this company again.
