  I injured my surgically repaired knee last September and I fully expected to plan for a knee replacement. My orthopedic doctor suggested I try physical therapy and I reluctantly did. I have now fully recovered and my knee feels stronger than it did pre-injury. Al has such a good understanding of anatomy and knows what type of excersizes and stretching will be effective. I can't say thank you enough to him! I highly recommend Al for any type of PT.

  Al is celebrating his 53rd year as a physical therapist—a remarkable milestone that reflects both dedication and expertise. I often refer to him as the “Yoda” of physical therapy, a fitting nod to his depth of knowledge and thoughtful approach to care. Over the years, I’ve undergone two shoulder surgeries, a back and hamstring injury, and, more recently, hand surgery. In each instance, Al has played a critical role in my recovery. His command of his craft is exceptional, and he consistently thinks outside the box to develop creative, effective rehabilitation strategies. Thanks to his work, my shoulders are now in excellent condition, and he successfully guided me through recovery from my back and hamstring injury. He is currently helping me rehabilitate my hand. What I appreciate most about Advanced Physical Therapy is the personalized care you receive from an independent owner. Unlike larger hospital systems or franchise operations, the focus here is truly on the individual, resulting in a more attentive and tailored treatment experience.

  Al is an amazing physical therapist! I was really worried that I wouldn't be able to feel better with PT and would have to have surgery on my shoulder. Luckily in my case with Al's therapy and teaching me how to recover I was able to avoid surgery and get back to work. I also want to mention that his office manager Amy is so friendly and kindhearted and Harry is the best therapy dog in the world.

  Do not think twice about traveling great distances to Boise for Al's help with shoulder issues. He is a marvel! With a Type 1-2 S.L.A.P. injury, resulting in a frozen shoulder, Al's therapy and guided expertise avoided prospective surgery. Nothing to fear. He is astutely tuned into what you are feeling. Al and his staff have a laid back, easy, yet efficient and effective approach. Many thanks to Al and staff.
