I scheduled an exam online. Within 2 hours they had called and messaged me multiple times. When they called me for the second time I answered and they started asking for personal information. I told them I didn’t feel comfortable giving that out over the phone. The person told me I could provide the information in person but I had to come in a bit earlier. I had no problem with that. The next day I got another message and phone call from a different person trying to get the same information, and because I didn’t answer the phone, (I was at work) they cancelled my appointment.

Telehealth Optometrist stated cannot prescribe medication. Do not go if you are wanting more than a standard exam. Was told I need to schedule additional appointment elsewhere for in person exam for simple issue.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients).
