Physical Therapy
21st Century Rehab is a physical therapist owned company that was founded in 1995 by Steve and Michelle Cassabaum. Since that time, 21st Century Rehab has added four partners, all physical therapists who work in our clincs. 21st Century Rehab has seven outpatient clinics locations in Altoona, Boone, Carlisle, Indianola, Madrid and Osceola and have seven hospital partnerships with Dallas County Hospital (Perry), Franklin General Hospital (Hampton), Greene County Medical Center (Jefferson), Knoxville Hospitals and Clinics, Story County Medical Center (Nevada), Van Diest Hospital (Webster City) and Wayne County Hospital (Corydon).
21st Century Rehab provides quality physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, sports medicine, and occupational health services to patients and communities. These services range from joint and muscle pain, trouble with daily activities, range of motion issues, headaches, vertigo, TMJ issues, Women's and Men's health, and more.

But once we started with Range of Motion and Strengthening exercises I started to gain strength, more range of motion and felt more confidence of the healing process. I am very grateful for the treatment I received at 21 century, it was literally life changing 👍😄

From my first visit in March, I felt that everyone there was friendly and helpful, and most importantly concerned about me and my health. I was fortunate to work with Grant Wishon. He listened to my concerns and helped me to gain strength, endurance and balance. The exercises helped to prepare me so that my knee replacement in May was successful and the therapy afterward helped me make the progress needed too. Grant challenged me to work hard and encouraged me during therapy leading to my success. He is very knowledgeable and always asked if I had questions during my appointments and between appointments. His answers were easy to understand and then directions easy to follow. I would highly recommend this office and Grant to people looking for help get back their quality of life without some of the pain that comes for aging or injury. Thank you for your help!

Took the time to listen and address concerns regarding a situation with complications that came up, fears that expected progress was not being met and lifestyle that I was hoping to be able to accommodate again. Grant patiently suggested and guided me through different exercises to help me attain set goals for my new knee. Great staff overall to work with. 5 star rating from this satisfied customer.
