I asked both locations for a certain material for my lens. The edgewood rd location older gal who is apparently the store manger had no idea what material I was talking about. After just leaving irritated at the lack of knowledge, I tried my luck at 1st ave. They knew what I was at least talking about, but couldn't get the material. Neither location made any other suggestions or even tried to get me the material I wanted and my eye Dr recommends. Ended up going to another place that not only could get me the lens with the material I wanted, but I asked them how they were able to get them and lenscrafters wasn't. They had no idea since they use the same lab. This isn't the first time I have had an issue with the edgewood rd location in the last 6 months. But now I know I won't be back to any lenscrafters, and certainly not either location in Cedar Rapids.
