- SWSherry WarthJun 12, 20235.0Today I have finally "graduated" from Rock Valley Physical Therapy following my knee replacement last October. Obviously, my knee replacement was not the usual "textbook" situation but Anna Perry and her staff were absolutely AMAZING! Anna has so much patience. She pushed me to work incredibly hard, encouraged me to believe in myself and challenged me everyday and I’m extremely grateful for RVPT - Ankeny. This has not been an easy road for me and getting the range of motion has been very difficult. At 6 weeks I had a MUA (manipulation under anesthesia) and Anna and Kristin worked with me for 12 consecutive days including a weekend. I was fitted for a brace to help with flexion and extension, we’ve done dry needling along with all the other typical exercises. Every patient and every knee is different and the recovery time also varies but the staff at RVPT - Ankeny are so kind and so willing to take the necessary time it takes and they do it with a smile and I feel like they genuinely love their jobs. I would recommend RVPT - Ankeny to everyone because they are so knowledgeable and the really do care.
