Our office staff truly want every patient to have the best chiropractic experience. From the moment you walk in our door we want you to feel welcome and excited to begin your chiropractic journey! Our doctors will do a consultation, thorough examination, report of findings, and answer any questions you have prior to treatment. We perform different styles of treatment with our hands and with instruments (Activator) to ensure each patient has the best outcome. Our doctors also can perform a very specific soft-tissue technique which specializes in muscle and nerve treatment in the spine and extremities. They have found that this treatment in conjunction with the adjustments help their patients get better in less time. The muscle and nerve technique allows them to treat soft tissue problems such as sciatica, plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, shin splints, carpal tunnel, tendinitis, muscle spasms, migraines/headaches, and much more with great success. They also work with children and babies, and can help with colic, insomnia, bed wetting, spitting up, and constipation. Chiropractic can also help pregnancies be more enjoyable and less painful. X-ray services

We have a digital x-ray machine on site. We are able to use x-ray services for spinal assessment, posture, scoliosis care, fracture assessment, etc. We have the ability to review x-rays with our patients within minutes rather than waiting days or weeks to hear back on results.
Pediatric Services

We have been trained to work with children as well as adults. Pregnant mothers from prenatal to postnatal care also see great changes with chiropractic care. We offer care for children from birth that is safe, gentle, and effective. We often help the body function more appropriately so that we can help reduce the cases of ear infections (by helping the ears to drain more appropriately), colic, constipation, bed wetting, poor sleep habits, and more!

I've been looking for a chiropractor since moving to Ankeny & I'm so grateful to have found Dr. Colton Mentzer! I was looking for a chiropractor who is a great listener, communicates their perspective/knowledge, is open to what works for me/doesn't work for me (I've had chiropractic care as a big part of my healthcare most of my life), is as gentle as possible for me, yet effective & is courteous & kind. Dr. Colton has exceeded all of my expectations. As an added bonus, the office staff are all efficient at scheduling, treat you w/kindness & greet you w/smiles.

I went to Bloyer Chiropractic with sciatic pain. I admittedly may have waited too long to seek treatment. Dr. Colton listened to my symptoms, gave me a thorough evaluation and suggested a treatment plan that started immediately. I was able to feel improvement within the first few visits and continued improving with each treatment along with some work at home. Less than two months later, I'm virtually pain free. The receptionists were always welcoming and had me checked in the minute they saw me walk through the door. This was my first experience with any type of chiropractic care and I would definitely recommend Bloyer Chiropractic in the future.

Dr. Bloyer and is staff are absolutely outstanding! I've been seeing him for a year, and he's done a great job of helping me reduce pain and improve mobility. He's an excellent communicator, takes thorough notes, and he's very personable / highly engaged with helping me each and every time I visit.
