  My visit was over a year ago. I was 44 at the time and have been nearsighted my entire life. I never had issues reading, but with my new prescription I have to remove my glasses to read. I informed Whylie Eye Care of this and they simply told me, you'll probably need bi-focals next time. According to ChatGPT: 1. It is very common for my age group to need to switch to a bi-focal, the doctor should know this and this should've been caught during the eye test. They should've tested my near vision with the updated prescription. 2. When I informed them of my issue, they should've offered a free recheck and a remake (I pay any difference for bifocals). 3. They should've explained presbyopia. The fact they did none of the above and left me hanging with a pair of glasses that are only functional for seeing far away, means I won't be returning to them. I spent over $400 on the glasses and lenses.

  Went in a few minutes before 5 pm. to pick out some glasses. As soon as I walked in the door, I got a look that could kill. The first thing that was said is "we close in a few minutes." I just turned around and left. There's nothing like being felt a bother. Already had my exam for the Johnston location and was treated great. But, there are plenty of other places to go. Why would you even close at 5 when most people work until 5? The employee didn't even know what I wanted or needed. I got a look that said, "Why would you be here. Then snapped with "we close in a few minutes." No, hello, how can I help you. Maybe I just ended an adjustment or cleaning. Once I said what I needed, they could have informed me about the hours. But no, just plan rude

  I had a great experience today! I came in as a new patient and from start to finish it was amazing! The doctor was so kind and helped me figure out what was best for my eye care and was able to answer all my questions. The ladies working up front were great helping me pick out frames and was knowledgeable with my insurance. I felt so welcomed. Thank you!
