I want to give 5 stars to the teachers and the classes, but I’m giving 2 stars to bring awareness to the rental towel and showers at this location. They offer rental mats for 4$ and towels for 2$. The towels are horrendous. They shed like crazy you can’t wipe your sweat once without leaving a whole trail of towel fibers on your body. It’s actually so bad it’s ridiculous that they charge 2$ for this. The first time, I had to leave mid class and ask for my towel to be changed only to be told that all towels are like this and that changing the towel wouldn’t make a difference. If they know it’s an issue they should do something about it. Additionally, the locker rooms are pretty smelly and the showers are not that clean. I think it’s a mixture of the way it’s used and cleaned. However I do wish that they would change the mats more in the lockers to keep it from smelling so bad. Again, the classes are great but the cleanliness is what keeps me from wanting to go back.

My last experience at CorePower Yoga at Ward was unenjoyable to say the least. The C1 class was ran by Chi Hu, I am brand new to Yoga overall so as described by my girlfriend that I went with, C1 classes are introductory? We joined the class with her cousin and at the end of it, all 3 of us felt like our teacher Chi was a bossy, fast-paced instructor that didn't help us maintain a zen-like environment. Also during the class, the techniques shown felt brief and rushed through. Almost like the instructor didn't want to be the last one out, yet we were. This teacher mentioned she was a substitute while her friend was on a trip. If this is someone that person trusts to take care of her classes while she's away, this makes me think how do other instructors care about this program for the community. Also it felt like there was no point on turning off the lights 20ish min before ending while we're still working on our last set of exercises... Mahi was awesome to extend my free week, but this experience as a novice makes me unsure about signing up for a membership in question if other teachers are like this.

took Yoga Sculpt with Armay C at CorePower Yoga Ward and the class exceeded my expectations! Armay was incredibly helpful, kind, and encouraging throughout the entire workout. She created such a welcoming and motivating environment while still pushing us to challenge ourselves. Her energy was amazing, and she made the class fun and approachable for all levels. I left feeling stronger, energized, and excited to come back. Highly recommend taking her class if you get the chance!

I want to share my experience here so others can be aware. During the class, I had to text briefly because I had an urgent matter. I understand that this may have been inappropriate, and I truly felt sorry about it. I tried my best not to disturb anyone and later apologized sincerely. However, after the class ended, she came to confront me in a very harsh and sarcastic tone, even after I had already said sorry. What hurt me the most was the way she spoke to me it did not feel like I was being treated as a customer, but rather being talked down to in a disrespectful manner. I admit my mistake and I take responsibility for it, but I believe there is a more professional and kind way to communicate with clients. A simple polite reminder or a calm conversation would have been enough. I hope the management can improve staff communication
