I’ve been going to this LensCrafters for years and they’ve done a good job overall, but I’m so frustrated this year. I tired 2 different types of contacts to decide what i want to order. First of all, I was never contacted when the 2nd pair came in for me to try. 2 weeks later, I called and they said “Oh yeah. They are here, ready for you to pick up.”
I took them home and tried them. Then I took another 2-3 weeks to decide which ones worked best for me.
3 days ago I called to finalize my decision . I was told that my doctor was coming in at 2 pm that day and she’d call me back. Nope. No phone call all day. The next day I call and explain the situation. I was told my Dr wasn’t going to be in, but perhaps the Dr there could finalize and order them. Nope. Again, no phone call. Today I called yet again. Again, my Dr is not in but I was told that someone would call back. The lady that I spoke to on the phone was very nice and helpful. (Shenae or Sharae). She did call back around 5 pm to tell me that I would have to wait until my Dr was in again tomorrow because she had to be the one to finalize.
I’m out of contacts and I don’t understand why someone can’t just place an order for me when it’s pretty straightforward that it was up to me to decide which ones worked best for me.
I’m taking my business elsewhere in the future.

I will never bring my family or friends to this location, nor would I recommend it to anyone. The store manager was very unprofessional, and the level of customer service was extremely disappointing.
I had to spend more than an hour on the phone just to obtain accurate information and have my concerns addressed. A situation that should have been resolved quickly turned into a frustrating experience because of poor communication and a lack of professionalism.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location.

I cannot remember the name of the very pleasant associate that helped me, but I came in with a pair of my sunglasses bent up and lenses popped out. She immediately fixed, adjusted, and cleaned them and didn’t charge me. I’m switching my business for America’s best to LensCrafters! Not that America’s best isn’t a good company, but I always appreciate customer service
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
