  Entire staff of Arbor Place was fantastic and thorough. Would definitely go back. Constructive criticism is that my script was handed off to the front (LensCrafters). I wasn’t sure if they were in network, while they checked, I browsed and saw the frames were two to three times the price at Costco. When I said I just wanted a copy of my script and I was going to compare to Costco, I was told that they already filed an approval with my insurance so I might not be able to fill it anywhere else. I walked out and Costco was able to clear their authorization and process.

  Overall, my eye exam went well and I was able to be fitted for contacts. It was a very smooth, quick experience and everyone was welcoming as I was a new client who moved to the area recently! I would recommend to others who are looking for a new optometrist

  Extremely Disappointing Experience This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with an eye exam and eyewear provider. The pricing is extremely expensive, and the advertised discounts are misleading. The store promotes 40% or 50% off, but the exclusions are buried in the fine print. The discounts do not apply in many situations, such as when using vision insurance or depending on whether you purchase both the frames and lenses. None of this was explained clearly before the purchase. To make matters worse, I received a call from someone who identified himself as the General Manager. He claimed that during my visit last October I failed to pay my $10 copay and that I had also agreed to pay an additional $39 for other testing because I chose not to have my eyes dilated. This was the first time anyone had ever contacted me about an alleged outstanding balance. If there really had been a balance due, the store could have easily contacted me months ago instead of waiting until now. During the call, I asked him to email me copies of all the paperwork I supposedly signed authorizing these charges. Despite my request, he never sent the documents. He spoke very quickly, interrupted me several times, and seemed more interested in defending the charges than addressing my concerns. I even asked him to send me the documents while we were still on the phone, but he refused. The situation became even more frustrating when he abruptly ended the call. I immediately called back twice, but he refused to answer. That level of customer service is completely unacceptable and demonstrates a lack of professionalism and accountability. I will be contacting corporate to report my experience, including the misleading advertising, poor communication, and the refusal to provide documentation supporting the charges. Customers deserve transparency, honesty, and respect. Unfortunately, I did not receive any of those from this location.
