Everyone at GA Skin Cancer & Aesthetic Dermatology are professional, caring and friendly. I don't remember another medical professional giving out a cell number for any additional questions or issues to use at any time or the doctor personally calling after a procedure to check on progress/comfort.

I have been a patient of Athens Dermatology for a long time. This was the first time I ever met Dr. Timothy Orlowski. He removed a cyst from the side of my head and did a great job. What really impressed me about him too was that he called me 730 that evening to see how I was feeling. Can’t get any more personal than that. Thank you very much

The visit felt somewhat rushed. It did not fully meet my expectations. As usual, in medical situations, there is an information-asymmetry problem and power imbalance. In this case, both were actively present, and I left feeling somewhat frustrated. Maybe I was just having a bad day and next time will be quite different. Happy to discuss further with office and medical management if helpful…

Incredible place. Super fancy and huge space. Always clean and cool inside. The Staff are friendly, professional and kind. They treat you great from start to finish. They listen to you about any concerns you have and closely inspect all areas of your skin and scalp. I love going there and always feel relief after I leave knowing I am free of skin cancer. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Oconee or Clarke County area.

⭐️ Extremely disappointing experience, I would not recommend this clinic I honestly wish I could give this clinic less than 5 stars. On July 1, 2026, I had an appointment with Dr. Karly Kincaid, a dermatologist at this clinic. I had been dealing with a persistent problem on my face for more than six months, which is why I finally decided to make an appointment. Unfortunately, the entire visit lasted less than 15 minutes. Dr. Kincaid came into the room, but she NEVER properly examined my face or asked about my medical history. I have an autoimmune condition, so I expected that information to be taken into consideration. I was expecting a thorough examination, at the very least, for her to have me sit on the examination table and carefully examine my skin with a proper light or magnifying device. Instead, she simply looked at me and said that I had eczema. She then told me she was going to prescribe a VERY, VERY expensive cream and that, if I could not afford it, she would prescribe something else. The following day, I received a call from the specialty pharmacy. I was told that the cream cost approximately $1,000, that my Medicare did not cover it, and that they would notify the doctor that I could not afford it so another medication could be prescribed. And then… NOTHING. As of August 10, 2026, I have NEVER received another call, message, or follow-up from the doctor or the clinic. This is extremely frustrating and disappointing. I went there because I had been suffering with this problem for more than six months and was looking for professional medical care. Instead, I left feeling like my concerns had barely been heard or evaluated. I am now left dealing with the same problem without a treatment plan or proper follow-up, and I feel forced to try to manage the condition on my own. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC. If you are looking for a dermatologist who will take the time to properly examine you, listen to your medical history, and follow up with you when a prescribed medication is not affordable or covered by your insurance, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. A patient should never feel like they were rushed in and rushed out without a proper evaluation—especially when they have been suffering from a medical condition for months.
