I did not need cataract surgery yet. and it ruined my life. earlier he said not for year or 2 then just a few months later I needed it He’s Rude, non caring attitude and optical is bad never returns calls as promised. No good prescription after 3 times. You are ignored and I walked out with medical records while he’s stating patient was satisfied. All questions answered satisfactorily. He never gave a an answer for anything. Don’t do anything without a 2nd opinion. Zero is not low enough to grade him or staff. Even optical. It’s horrible after 3 attempts I can’t read or drive He did cataract I did not need and yag surgery right after. . My left eye has never been good since him He refuses to make any conversation with you as if he’s bored of his job . Personally they didn’t even care when I picked up my records. I found a great Dr who found issues he should have treated but he just doesn’t care. Another day another dollar to him. I regret the day I ever went but more so for ever going back. I am going to write a long letter to him. Your eyes are so important please, I wish I had read reviews.

My husband went there for his appointment. The front desk staff was horrible. The doctor didn’t listen to him about his keratoconus and the glass contacts that he has used before. She ordered contacts but was not the correct contacts. They told him he will need to come back to be seen for the correct contact lens. Which I understand but if she would have listened, this would have not happened.

You should be honest up front and let customers know at the time of scheduling that you don’t accept insurance for glasses. Some of us rely on insurance to defer the cost of the glasses.

I would give this place a "0" if I could. Terrible terrible terrible service. I'll be brief. Dr Gonzalez has no people skills. He entered the exam room twice and didn't acknowledge or speak to me. When I mentioned it to his staff, the reply was "he doesn't say much to us either ". We'll, I don't work for him and he's providing a service. Next, he "updated" a VERY OLD contact prescription without conducting an exam. When I asked about it, I was told "he did you a favor to save you money". I asked for an exam that I williing and capable of paying for, I didn't ask for a "favor". Did I mention he charged me an additional $50 for the "favor". Oh, the prescription is awful and I had to go somewhere else for a complete exam. I just called today and asked about getting the PD so I could order glasses online and was told the only way to get it, I would have to purchase the glasses from them. Really? Don't waste your time or money. This place is horrible.
