- MJMary JonesDec 13, 20251.0Very disappointing experience at the Kroger Pharmacy in Suwanee. I went in to pick up my grandmother’s prescriptions, and unfortunately the experience was extremely unpleasant, which makes it even more upsetting. The service was poor and the staff came across as very unfriendly. The pharmacist on duty was not personable at all and spoke in a rude and dismissive tone. Sometimes, when a floating pharmacist or staff member is around, they will allow a customer to check out one or two small items, like a shampoo, chocolate, or over-the-counter product, right at the pharmacy. At this location, I was bluntly told no and that I had to go to the front registers, even for just one or two items. There was no courtesy, no explanation, and no sense of customer care. It was also frustrating that when I was told no alternate ID was needed for free medication, this was communicated in a careless and indifferent way, which made the whole experience feel cold and unwelcoming. Overall, it was a very sad experience, especially when all I was trying to do was pick up my grandmother’s prescriptions. After seeing similar feedback in other reviews and experiencing this myself, I have decided to move her prescriptions to CVS Pharmacy. Kroger management really needs to pay closer attention to the pharmacy department instead of continuing to overlook these issues.
